As people closely involved with the management and communications of NBDC I am writing to solicit comments on the below proposed plans for closing the NBDC:
1. We commission a quick digital story which pulls together a selection of existing material to highlight activities, outputs and outcomes from the NBDC
2. We have a short share fair on 14/15 November to explain these activities , outputs and outcomes in an interactive way and at which everyone gets a summary of the products. Possible stalls for share fair are partners (multiple) NBDC- participation, enegagment, IP’s, data, modeling, outputs??
3. We follow (or possibly more likely precede) the Share Fair with an invited dinner, of say 20 people drawn from MoA, MoWE, EIAR, Min of Forest and Environment, NBI, ENTRO, ARARI, ORARI, Abbay Basin Authority, ATA, WLE, VBDC and LBDC, universities of AA and Bahir Dar. At the event we screen the digital story and have a couple of short statements about achievements, taking it forward and continuing dialogue.
4. An additional option is to have a specific piece in the Share Fair on 16/10 celebrating 10 years of IWMI.
For these we have copies of reports, proceedings, policy briefs and DVDS
How does this sound, are there any other options for including/ expanding/ replacing?
